This is such mess, but I love it.
An University of Washington Poll has some surprising or maybe not surprising results on the Teabaggers.
- 74% of Tea Party supporters say they agree with the following statement: "While equal opportunity for blacks and minorities to succeed is important, it's not really the government's job to guarantee it."
- 54% percent of respondents also said that "compared to the size of their group, lesbians and gays have too much political power."
- 88% of Tea Party supporters approve of the controversial immigration law recently enacted in Arizona.
- Only 18% of those surveyed say gay and lesbian couples should have the legal right to marry.
- 73% of Tea Party backers disapprove of President Obama's policy of engaging with Muslim countries.

They need a slap across the head and a hug afterward
That was, funny!
true
Oh! But they aren't racist or homophobic, they're just "fiscally conservative"
The part about the hug was great.
But now I know everything about the Tea Baggers that I wanted to know. I've known since the beginning that they're racist but I didn't know about the anti-LGBT part until now.
The Tea Baggers are those 20% or so who supported Bush even when it was becoming obvious that he lied about the reason for going into Iraq, among other things like warantless wiretapping, etc.
They just got themselves a new name, that's all. They're pissed that someone who's black (Well, under their one drop assesment) is President.
