Superman News: Michael Shannon is General Zod

Warner Bros. Pictures released world that Michael Shannon will be General Zod in the new Superman movie “Man of Steel.”
As General Zod, Shannon will go toe-to-toe with Henry Cavill, who plays the new Clark Kent/Superman in the film. The main cast also includes Amy Adams as Lois Lane, and Diane Lane and Kevin Costner as Martha and Jonathan Kent.
Michael Shannon was honored with an Academy Award® nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Sam Mendes’ “Revolutionary Road,” with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. Shannon was most recently seen in the award-winning HBO drama series “Boardwalk Empire,” from executive producer Martin Scorsese. He will next be seen in Sony Pictures Classics', "Take Shelter," from director/writer Jeff Nichols.
He's a good actor, I'm sure he will bring it.

Kneel Before... Viggo? Is this our new Zod? Hope so.

Hot news! Viggo may be playing General Zod in the new Superman movie. Here's the scoop:

Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that producer Christopher Nolan and director Zack Snyder are zeroing in on an intriguing actor to play the villain: Viggo Mortensen. Mortensen, who is still in negotiations for Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman, is said to be at the top of the list to play General Zod, the evil and super-powered scientist first introduced not in the comic books but in 1980's Superman II
Interesting choice. If he gets it, I'm sure he will do really well.

The most DIVA villains of all Time

Villains Are Cool! Sometimes they make the movie more than it really is...which is always good to me.

However, I noticed how some of these bad folks present themselves. It's pure diva, from their voice to their fashion...Diva.

Here's what I'm feelin' what I'm feelin'

General Zod-that outfit and that cold stare...Diva

Ming-that cape and his walk, perfect pageant trot...and his theme music is the bomb

The killer from The Cell-that entrance...pure diva.

Belle the Vampire (on skates)-He is my all time favorite Diva. Those skate, nails and that hair. LOVE IT

Pinhead and Julia from Hellraiser-double the pleasure, double the Diva
