Fools bring back Tennessee Natural Marriage Defense Act

Silly Repubs have reintroduce two bills about marriage.

Under the Tennessee Natural Marriage Defense Act, Sen. Mae Beavers and Rep. Mark Pody hope to make marriage between one man, and one woman in my home state.

Now, it's truly ridiculous, but they really think they can beat the system.

These fools think the Supreme Court's ruling is trash. They believe same sex marriage is unlawful and all unlawful orders “remain unlawful and should be resisted.”

So stupid.

They will speak more about the bills in a press conference this week. So far, time and date for the Tennessee Natural Marriage Defense Act has not been set.

Lawmakers discuss the "Tennessee Natural Marriage Defense Act" UPDATE

In my home state, lawmakers are discussing the Tennessee Natural Marriage Defense Act. This bill's purpose is to null and void all same-sex marriages in the state. Why are they doing this mess? I don't know, considering how they will be sued in a federal court.

UPDATE After 90 minutes of mess, the Tennessee House Committee voted down the anti-gay marriage bill.

In Tennessee: lawmakers create a bill to Deny Same-Sex Marriage

Lord, Tennessee.

Two fools, or state representatives, introduced a bill called the "Tennessee Natural Marriage Defense Act."

This bill will not recognize gay marriage as legal. In fact, it says that laws, policy and judicial interpretations that don't define marriage as a contract between one man and one woman "is contrary to the public policy of this state and shall be void and unenforceable in Tennessee."

These fools also believe that SCOTUS forced a "lawless opinion" that isn't based in American law or history. So, basically, they are making shit up and hope it passes. This act is illegal and won't pass, but I'm sure they will try.
