In Arizona: Folks protested Hate Preacher Steven Anderson

Close to a hundred folks protested at Steven Anderson’s Faithful Word Baptist Church the other day. Quickcap: Steven is the preacher who said that the cure for AIDS, is the death of Gay people.

The protesters showed up at Anderson’s church with signs saying "Teach love not hate," "Jesus loves everybody", "Honk if you support love" and "AIDS is not a gay disease."

The protesters were peaceful, they just wanted to hold Steven accountable for his hate speech.

Tempe, Arizona passes a Proposition protecting LGBT Employees

Cool news from Tempe, Arizona.

The Arizona city is the first in the state to ban discrimination against LGBT city workers.

Prop 475 passed quickly and effortlessly through the City Council, which is a good thing. And it makes perfect sense due the growing businesses and ASU being in Tempe. It will be interesting to see what the haters think.
