Lifetime to create a Series on The Omen's Damien

Lifetime is making a new series based on Damien, from The Omen movies... Yeah, from The Omen movies.

According to the press release, the first season will be six episodes and it starts in early 2015. This series will follow Damien in his adult years. He's not completely aware of his powers or the satanic forces around him. Damien will struggle with past and his possible future as the Antichrist.

This could be interesting, or a bad mistake.

Yaya DaCosta Alafia is Whitney Houston in the Lifetime Biopic

Do y'all remember Yaya from America's Next Top Model (Eva won that season)?

Well, she just got the role of a lifetime.

Yaya DaCosta Alafia has been cast as Whitney Houston in Angela Bassett-Directed Lifetime Biopic.

Angela Bassett will make her directorial debut with the Lifetime Original Movie, tentatively titled "Whitney Houston," which will chronicle the headline-making relationship between the iconic singer, actress, producer and model, and singer, songwriter Bobby Brown - from the time they first met at the very height of their celebrity, to their courtship and tumultuous marriage.

Bassett will direct from a script penned by Shem Bitterman ("Betty & Coretta" - the Lifetime Original Movie that Bassett starred in last year). Larry Sanitsky (who produced "Betty & Coretta") will do the same for "Whitney Houston."

Yaya has the look and the growing acting chops. I will get her a shot.
