Clash of the Titans 2?

Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures are moving ahead with a sequel to Clash of the Titans, which the studio would like as early as spring, 2012. But they will make the journey without Louis Leterrier, who will not return for an encore as director. Sam Worthington will return, as well as most every other character that survived. Greg Berlanti will write the story and the studio is already canvassing the agencies for a writer and director who can whip the movie into shape to shoot before Worthington makes Avatar 2.

Yes, it made a lot of money, but once folks saw it, it was an omega fail. More peeps regret seeing it and now, they want to do a Part 2?

Seriously, I'm questioning if I want to go into this field where foolishness is on tap. I mean, what are they going to do in a Part 2, fight in the Trojan War? Travel to the Planet of the Apes? Save Jesus?

A third installment of the extreme sports action film XXX is revving up again, with some real twists and turns. The project has left Columbia Pictures, with negotiations underway for Paramount to take over the franchise, finance production and distribute the film in late 2011 or early 2012.

Rob Cohen has returned as director, and reunites with Vin Diesel, with whom he made the original. The new installment of XXX will be shot with 3D cameras.

Haven't this story been played out already? And in 3D? Another played out event.

I like Vin Diesel, but at this point in the game and in his career, I expect better from him.
XXX is not a movie everybody's looking forward to. How about something new and fresh. Vin is an decent actor, I would love to see him do something mind blowing.

And shirtless, of course.

This show must die!

Why on Earth are they bringing this slow death of a series back!

Smallville has been renewed for a 10th season, the CW network announced Thursday.

The nascent Superman story starring Tom Welling was moved to Friday nights this season, leaving fans worried about the series' fate. The ratings have grown, though, bringing in an average of 3.12 million viewers.

Erica Durance told TVGuide.com that her contract ran through Season 10. Justin Hartley also said he would return if the show wants him back and Cassidy Freeman said that her contract runs three years, meaning she could be included in next season. A rep for the show would only confirm that Tom Welling is set to return.

I wished Tom would had said "no", but everybody needs a job, but everybody don't want this!

Lord, I can't believe this. I was hoping she would say no, but...

The trade reveals that after months of speculation, Neve Campbell has in fact signed on board for Scream 4, joining returning stars Courteney Cox and David Arquette. Scream 4 will start production in April or May as the first of a new trilogy written by series creator Kevin Williamson. The company is in talks with Wes Craven to possibly return to the director's chair.

I guess it's on... Damn. I mean, I loved the movies, but this is not right.
