WHAT IF Disney made a Doctor Who Flick?

Would you watch a Doctor Who movie if Disney made it?

I saw this fake poster on io9 and cringed at the thought. But who knows, Disney could give flair (high doubt).

What do some of the fans think?

WHAT IF the X-Men: First Class movie was about the 2nd Class?

As some of you know, the X-Men: First Class movie is coming. It's being produced by Bryan Singer and directed by Matthew Vaughn.

The story will be based on the first X-Men: Scott, Jean, Bobby, Warren and Hank. But what if, they changed the script and give us the All-New, All-Different X-Men?

I'm talking about Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Thunderbird, Wolvie and Banshee. I think this version would be more exciting, here's why:

• Let's face it, the originals were boring. The original X-Men comics were dying until the new team was brought in.
• Diversity is key. The 1975 class gave us an African Goddess, a Russian farm boy, a german circus performer and a Native American. A nice mix of mutants.
• Their 'baptism of fire' provided their first loss, Thunderbird. He died within 3 issues. However, it could be a great story to tell on screen.
• We could see how the new team adapt to America. Most of them are from other countries, so to see them in a 'strange land' could be fun.
• Cyclops can stay as the leader, but it would interesting see how he adapts to the new group. Show the challenges of a group that has no idea how to be a super team.
• The movie can expose us to old or new enemies, I'm a little tired of Magneto.
• The casting of a younger Storm may redeem the character (sorry Halle Berry).
• This idea could truly reboot the series. Give a different look at the characters some of us love.
• Their origins and earlier stories are very interesting. I'm sure the viewers would enjoy seeing them played out on film.
• We could see Xavier deals with a new team. Maybe even watch him challenge Scott on being the team leader.
  

I could go on, but I would love to a take of the 2nd batch of muties. What do the fans think?

WHAT IF: Quentin Tarantino directed the G.I. Joe movie

I just saw Inglourious Basterds, which is a wonderful film, BTW.

Anywho after 2 hours and 40 minutes of this film, I realized that Quentin could have wrote and directed the G.I. Joe movie.

Could you see it? We would have an action packed, raw, gritty and America-in-your-face movie that G.I. Joe was meant to be. Imagine Quentin's version of Cobra Commander or Destro... The Baroness would've been devilish hot and dangerous.

The Joes would have been funny, real and the violent soldiers we (old school fans) would cream for.
I'm sure he would've delivered 3 hours of Yo Joe madness. I'm almost high from the idea of this fantasy.

Goddess, if I could, I would've begged him to do the G.I. Joe movie. Quentin's version would've been historic. Like Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Death Proof and his other projects, his version would have ruled the summer flicks.

WHAT IF: Neil Marshall wrote, directed and produced the Friday the 13th reboot

Okay, Okay I need to get over it. The movie is done and I didn't care for it to see it again. But after watching the The Descent the other day, I thought...What if they tapped Neil Marshall to write, produce and direct the Friday the 13th remix.

So why Neil? Well, why not. His work for Dog Soldiers and The Descent is clearly breathtaking and wonderful. His ability to create fear and horror is phenomenal. The care he takes in pushing limits and challenge our darkest fears is rarely seen in today's Horror movies.

Also he's pretty good with action flicks, Doomsday was okay but still a solid film. I think that if he made F13, the action and the thrills would have been a whole lot better. I believe he would have made Jason a very dark killing machine. He would have been a scary legend in the woods, something to be feared instead of something to be giggled at (thanks Michael Bay).

Neil has impeccable vision and creativity. Maybe if the studio was serious about Jason's return, they would have chosen an artist that could have taken this reboot to the next level. Please, if you haven't seen Dog Soldiers and The Descent, see them soon. Neil should be considered for many Horror flicks to come.
