The Challenge to DADT goes back into Court

Guess what?

We have another DADT case heading into court. This one is sponsored by the Log Cabin Republicans.

A judge has agreed to hear a case challenging the U.S. government's "don't ask, don't tell' policy against openly gay soldiers.

Lawyer Dan Woods says U.S. District Court Judge Virginia A. Phillips in Riverside, Calif. agreed Monday to send the case to trial July 13.

Woods is representing the Log Cabin Republicans, a group rights group.

He says the group hopes to end the 1993 policy by having it declared unconstitutional.

If the group wins, Woods says it could set a precedent for the entire nation.

The Obama administration supports the drive to repeal the ban but faces a tough road ahead in the full Senate, where Republicans are likely to filibuster it.

I know Obama's folks may DADT in court, I'm not a fan of that, but I get it. It is still law, however I hope this case crack DADT enough to take it down in the months to come.

Bill O'Reilly will Pay the Legal Fees for the Fallen Marine's Dad

A surprised move from a jerk!

Here's the quick and dirty. A father of a fallen U.S. Marine, sued members of the Westboro Baptist Church cult for picketing his son's funeral. Well, the judge ordered the father to pay for Westboro legal fees.

So this prompt some 'goodness' in Bill and now, he will pay the legal fees of the father.

"I will pay Mr. Snyder's obligation," said O'Reilly. "I am not going to let this injustice stand.

Mark this deed, it may not happen again.

Bishop Harry Jackson teams with the malefic Alliance Defense Fund to cause Foolishness in D.C.

Why, why are they wasting time and money? Dirty Harry Jackson and the Legion of Doom are trying to stop the recognition of gay marriage in D.C. by filing a lawsuit to force his silly referendum.

This is coming from the other day when the election board blocked Harry's proposal because it would violate the city's human rights law.

Harry said:

"We are not going to sit by and allow an unelected board of bureaucrats to deny voters their rightful say on this issue and, by their action, allow the institution of marriage and the entire structure of our society to be radically redefined. We will continue to fight for the people of the District of Columbia who want their voice to be heard in this important issue."

Where are these people Harry? Anywho legal experts believe that it's say it's unlikely that Congress will side with Harry and his fools, but you never know. However, I'm hopeful...I really want Bishop Harry and others realize how this crosses the line between personal battles and the true purpose of the church. It's disgusting and I hope he falls flat on his face.
