What about not defending DOMA?

I spoke to Admiral Mullen today. He said he’s taking the implementation manual that was a companion to the attitudinal survey off to vacation with him. He is prepared to implement. I spoke to other of the service chiefs, including, for example, General Amos. We saw that in the attitudinal surveys there was the most resistance in the Marine Corps. But Jim Amos said to me that he’s ready to implement and he’s going to make it work.
So my strong sense is this is a matter of months…

Not years?
Absolutely not years—and that we will get this done in a timely fashion, and the chiefs are confident that it will get done in a timely fashion. They understand this is not something that they’re going to be slow-walking.

So... Am I missing the Point here?

The Advocate has a long, but interesting article about Obama's actions towards the LGBT community. And while it speaks on nothing new, I have to wonder... What was the point of the article?

It's good, but it doesn't have much of new material.

I mean, if you have 6 pages tell me something new or provoking. Most of us (bloggers) have already said these things; so really, is this article to putting stuff in perspective or trying boost sales?

I thought about calling him the n word but I thought the f word was even worse. I was so filled with hate at that moment because I was hated on so much, and I reacted in the worst way possible. Then I went on to make a bunch of other mistakes. I shouldn’t have made the video. I shouldn’t have released so many statements. But what’s come out of all of this is that I’ve learned so much about myself, and I’m in a much better place. I’m actually thankful that it happened. As cheesy as it may sound, I had almost a spiritual moment when I just let all of the anger and worry go and am now filled with peace, happiness, and wisdom. I could let this jade me and go back to being the super bitch that I was when I first started the website, but I’ve softened on my website and in life, maybe because I’m happier in my personal life than I’ve ever been.

Please, this is the proof that you can't take what you dish. And the n-word reference is unacceptable. With so much happening in LGBT community and new leaders rising and emerging, I ask again...Why is he on the cover?

But who knows, this could be the beginning of a new Perez. However, the damage has been done. I think it will take years to gain the trust of most LGBT folks...Years.

What?

The Advocate just named Lindsay Lohan, The Most Googled Gay...Perez Hilton came in second place.

That's sad, really sad.

That's like saying T-Pain is The Most Googled Black person.
