Guess what City is The Advocate's Gayest City in the US?

Washington D.C. has been named the gayest city in the United States by The Advocate.

Two big flaws in this ranking. Count of Lesbian coupled households - with no count of male. And then Women's Studies.

As far as elected officials - 1/10th point for federal when we have Rep. David Cicilline and then we have a RI House Speaker Gordon Fox who is also openly gay.

Plus Providence is home to Brown, RISD, JWU, PC, and satellites of URI and CCRI. And I probably missed one in there.

Plus there's the gay rodeo thing, really? And as to concerts by Mariah Carey sure, Pink has probably played here too. Gaga not so much and Jonas Brothers not at all.

In essence it's narrowly tailored report to bolster cities trying to happen as gay mecca's.
