Aaaargghh!! That's a tough one. I'm gonna go with The Search For The Tinker Chief by Brid Mahon, although it could easily be a Roald Dahl...
I have a couple that I can't choose between:1) A Taxi Dog Christmas (I think this is what caused me to fall in love with the city)2) Any of the Raggedy Ann Books3) The Berenstain Bears
A Taxi Dog Christmas. Just a freakin adorable book. I would read throughout the year.
Harriet the Spy by Louise Fitzhugh
I would have to say one of my favorites was. . . Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day
"Where the sidewalk ends" by Shel Silverstein sticks out to me. It always comes to mind when I think of books I read as a boy.
