Hot Rumor! Jon Hamm as Superman?

Rumors are flying about Mad Men's Jon Hamm donning the cape and tights in the new Superman flick.
Here's more from TMT:
I doubt this is real, but if they are looking for Kal-El, please reconsider Brandon Routh. With plans set for a December 2012 release, we've heard different names out in the open ranging from Chuck star Zachary Levi in the "Rumor Mill" department to True Blood actor Joe Manganiello publicly campaigning for the role. But who do the studios (in this case, Warner Brothers and Legendary Pictures) have their eye on for mild-mannered Clark Kent and his red-and-blue suit wearing alter ego, or is it the other way around?
Sources tell TMT one such actor being "seriously considered" is Mad Men
star Jon Hamm.At thirty-nine (He'd be past forty when The Man of Steel opens), he's certainly older than who's regularly looked at for these franchises. Then again, look at Robert Downey Jr. He's starring in the Iron Man and Sherlock Holmes films (and then there's Avengers) and he's a few years older. Not to mention, Hamm happens to have been a fan-favorite for Kal-El for years now. Something that was suggested to him directly by Music Television and it wasn't like he immediately dismissed the notion.

New Rumor: Joaquin Phoenix as the Hulk?

I didn't say, but the CHUD.com did:
Reliable sources tell me that Marvel has already put out an offer, and the actor they've spoken to is Joaquin Phoenix, believe it or not. Phoenix is taking time to mull over the offer and the bigger implications - Marvel may yet resurrect the Hulk franchise - but Marvel hopes to have him in place by Comic Con, which is when they want to announce their new Bruce Banner. We will see if this true or not.
As of right now treat this as a rumor, as I was unable to get solid confirmations or denials (it's the weekend!). Phoenix might very well turn the studio down - I'm hearing that whoever plays Banner will be the lowest man on The Avengers pay totem pole - but this would probably be a good move for the actor. Phoenix needs to come back from the wilderness, where he has firmly planted himself since he made a weird, probably put-on documentary with Casey Affleck.
Over the last year or so Phoenix has seemingly melted down, becoming a terrible rapper, an inveterate drug abuser and a complete train wreck, leading up to his supposed retirement from Hollywood. That may have all been for the documentary (which has been screening for potential buyers), so getting back in the saddle immediately, now that the doc is done and on the market, makes sense for him.

There's some rumors going around saying that Alias and Midnight Meat Train's Bradley Cooper could be Hal Jordan.

Is This the Black Widow?

Comic peeps knows Natasha Romanova, the super Russian spy called Black Widow. Well, we may see her on the big screen in Iron Man 2...possibly.
Rumors are spreading that she may be in the next flick and Emily Blunt is the front runner for the role. Miss Emily is well known for her acting and her role in The Devil Wears Prada, which she earned an Oscar nomination for best supporting actress.

This is good, I'm sure she can pull it off. But we will see if this fact or fiction.

More Batman Rumors

I hope by the grace of Athena these are rumors. The UK mag rag, The Sun, claims that Eddie Murphy will be the Riddler and Shia LaBouf will play Robin.
The Beverly Hills Cop star, 47, has been signed up by British director CHRISTOPHER NOLAN to reprise the role played by JIM CARREY in 1995’s Batman Forever. The film, set for a 2010 release, is being developed under the working title Gotham. Execs have also signed up rising Transformers star SHIA LABEOUF, 22, to play Robin. CHRISTIAN BALE will return as Bruce Wayne, while MICHAEL CAINE will again play Bruce’s assistant Alfred. A film insider said: “Chris wasn’t sure if he wanted to do another movie but as soon as he decided to, he got the wheels in motion.
“Eddie’s a fantastic addition. Everyone’s excited to see what he does as the Riddler.”
No! This is madness! I know this is just a prank or someone's been in the liquor and LSD drawer again. But the folks at The Sun are sticking to their story. I hope someone clear this up soon.
Besides, Shia would make a horrible Robin.

New Catwoman Rumors

So I talked about Cher possible killing the role of Catwoman in next Batman movie, but that thank Hera, it was a big fake rumor.
Now new fun rumors have surfaced for the feline character. Some of Warners peeps are airing word that Rachel Weisz is being considered for the role. Other rumors are claiming that Maggie Gyllenhaal could return.
But wait, she was killed as Rachel Dawes, right? Maybe, the rumor is that she has 9 nine lives and her return will be her chance to assist Bats. Crazy talk I know, but fairly interesting.
As more comes, I'll keep y'all posted.
