Interesting Quote: Jennifer Hudson

What I've always admired about the gay community is the independence and the confidence. Just that attitude. I'm so inspired by that, and I feel like, for me, that is my connection. I've never understood, gosh, what does the gay community see in me? You know what I mean? Because again, I grew up around a lot of that and that's the world that embraced me first, so that I've never fully gathered.

Did You Know that Jennifer Hudson was almost Precious?

This is a shocker. I just read that Jennifer Hudson was offered the role of Precious. And she turned it down!

Here's the story:

Following her win for Best Supporting Actress for the 2006 film "Dreamgirls," the American Idol winner says that she asked by director Lee Daniels to read for the title part in the film "Precious." The role, an abused and overweight daughter, was appealing, but the physical strain it present was not.

"I had done that with Effie... and as much as I was moved by this film," Hudson writes in her new book, "I Got This: How I Changed My Ways and Lost What Weighed Me Down" (via Uptown Magazine). "I wanted to try a role that had nothing whatsoever to do with my weight."
Wow, I wonder if the film would have worked with Jennifer. I think she would've done a good job. What do you think?

Jennifer at the Super Bowl

Jennifer Hudson will return to the stage...at the Super Bowl. She will sing the National Anthem before the kickoff, I believe.

This is great news for the fans, she's been through so much. I hope she is ready because we are ready for her.

And I have a reason to watch football.

Good News for Jennifer

Jennifer Hudson has endured such horrible tragedies as of late. But some good news came her way when she received four Grammy nominations for her debut CD.

"It's been a childhood dream of mine to release an album, so to receive four Grammy nominations is truly a blessing. I'm extremely honored and humbled by the nominations," she said.

It's a great CD and I wish her luck for her hard work. I also wish her peace as the holiday season continues. I know it will be hard for her.

Jennifer Hudson

This is just breaking my heart. Jennifer Hudson has lost her mother and her brother in a horrible way. Now she is hoping we can help her find her nephew.

Our girl is using myspace and other outlets. I hope they can find him soon. This tragedy has to end. I can't imagine what she is going through right now.

This is her message

"Please keep praying for our family and that we get Julian King back home safely. If anyone has any information about his whereabouts please contact the authorities immediately."

Hudson and her family are offering a $100,000 reward her nephew's safe return.

Sadness

My girl Jennifer Hudson just had a major blow in her personal life. Her mother and brother were found dead in their home in Chicago. They were shot. There's not much info right now, but I hope Jennifer is alright.

My heart goes out to her and her family.

Jennifer!

Obama has asked the neo-diva, Jennifer Hudson to sing the National Anthem Thursday night in Denver when he formally accepts the party's nomination.

This should be good, especially since her CD drops next month.
