Dan Savage: Hate Crimes bill Doesn't impact the lives of the LGBT community like Marriage
I kid you not, folks!
Dan said that the Hate Crimes law DOES NOT impact the lives of gays and lesbians like the right to get married.
Is he f**king kidding me?
Please listen to this CNN clip at the 3:58 mark
According to Dan, Hate Crimes is not one of the IMPORTANT LGBT issues.
What is wrong with our community? Wait, let me remix that, What is wrong with Dan Savage? He is saying that Hate Crimes does not impact us like marriage!
Am I crazy? What the f**k is he talking about?
This is why we are always running in circles, maybe it's just me, but that clip was a bunch of hater foolishness.
And who is this Corey Johnson?
Will CNN get some LGBT folks with a different and sensible opinions? I'm tired of these folks misrepresenting our community.

Hottie is a Hater

Matt Barber...
I know he's a hater and he is very anti-gay.
However, before I knew who he was, I thought he was kinda cute.
He's actually promoting his new book, The Right Hook: From The Ring To The Culture War.
I think I have poor judgment.
thanks to JMG for the info

Interesting Quotes: Joe Solmonese and John Aravosis

"I have no doubt it will be overturned. The administration views this in the context of the broader issues agenda they are working with Congress on, everything from the economy and health care to hate crimes. They see the overturning of 'don't ask, don't tell' along that spectrum as something that will likely happen next spring. ... And the administration is building a case in the military leadership and Congress and the rank-and-file members of the military."
Joe's statement about Obama dealing with DADT.
But Haterpants, John Aravosis is still sipping on that Haterade, saying:
I don't believe it for a minute, and I suspect more than a few people in Obamaland are going to freak when they hear about this.
John, jack-off or go take a nap already. Your foolishness is getting old.

Interesting Quote: Rev. Floyd H. Flake

“I don’t care what the politicians think. Ain’t nothing perfect about laying down and signing a license with somebody who got the same body parts you got.”
Fool and I guess, a preacher, who (no surprise) don't want gay marriage in New York.

Cheney...Shut the F**K up!
Disturbing? So I guess claiming your office is outside of the law and shooting somebody in the face is refreshing? Please! He's cleaning up your mess!

In Fear of a Gay Friendly Country

My fellow blogger, Eric brought up how homophobic the GOP and others have been for the past several months (more than that). And I've been thinking the same thing.
This is what I've noticed:
- The Utah Legislature snuffed out 3 more gay-rights bills.
- In Gainesville, Christian groups placed an amendment on the ballot that will make it legal to fire and deny housing to LGBT folks.
- Sen. Scott Renfroe equate us to murderers and think we should but to death.
- Chris Buttars thinks we are just like radical Muslims.
- The National Organization for Marriage launched a web site and a group called the DOMA Defense Fund last month to raise money to keep the Defense of Marriage Act, which prohibits the federal government from acknowledging same-sex marriages and allows states to ignore same-sex marriages enacted in other states.
- Oklahoma House passed a bill declaring the state sovereign from any rule of the federal government not mentioned in the Constitution. 8 other states are planning to do the same.
- Peter LaBarbera, president of Americans for Truth about Homosexuality, issued a statement pushing RNC chair, Michael Steele, to deny the Log Cabin Republicans a greater voice.
- In West Virginia, a website called, wv4marriage.com believes we are, THE GAY SNIPERS ready to attack straight families.
- Hawaii is now a battleground in the fight for same-sex civil unions.
- A Idaho state Senate committee killed a proposal to outlaw discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity.
- Georgia state Rep. Charlice Byrd wants to fire every university professor who teaches such "disgusting" classes as queer theory.
I feel like we need to get prepared. Their attacks are coming harder and faster. As a people, we need to organize and stay aware. I think it will get worse as the year progess.

Sen. Scott Renfroe Believes we are like Murderers and we should be put to Death
I don't know what's in the air or if defeat is such triggering thing, but the GOP senators are going mad.
Please listen to Sen Scott Renfroe during a debate on a bill that would give same-sex health care benefits to state employees in Colorado.
This is pure lunacy! How dare he spit out such hate as if it's just plain conversation. This is scary, y'all. This is scary because he felt compelled to say this mess with ease. People of Colorado, please hold this cretin accountable and gay folks, let's stand up against him.
I found a site that allows us to send Scotty a message. If interested, please go here

Interesting Quote: Michael Savage

“It's called Proposition 8, and you must vote 'yes' if you're sane. If you're insane, hate the family, hate man and woman, hate your mother and father, hate the Bible, hate the church, and hate the synagogue, of course you're in favor of 'no' on Proposition 8, which is where most of the Democrat politicians are, because they are exactly what you think they are.”
Really...Is he serious? Voting no on Prop 8 doesn't mean you hate all those things. And the Bible? The Bible says nothing about Prop 8 and Jesus hasn't came out to support the 'Yes' campaign. So what's really the issue Mr. Savage?

The Goblin Queen loses support

This heifer is a stain on our government system and the reason why Repubs can't catch a break. She is Rep. Michele Bachmann and she's an idiot.
In fact she such an idiot, that she wanted go on a witch hunt about Obama's secret ties with Ayres, The Kingpin, and Dr. Doom.
Well, because of her stark raving madness the National Republican Congressional Committee may be pulling its media purchases from her race. With the negative responses Repubs are getting recently, I guess they're cutting their dead weight. And guess what, She-Mess, you are it.

Send Her to the Phantom Zone, Immediately!

Needing attention, Ann Coulter, the Giraffe Woman went after John Edwards again. She said he's faggy, for what, I don't know. But it seems since she's no longer wanted by her own peeps and she's not as popular as Michelle Malkin, Ann is willing to do anything to be heard.

It's sad and desperate, Ann, and since you have nothing to offer anyone, it's off to the Phantom Zone with you.
Now if that could really happen, I would be very happy.
