Days ago, Sen. Scott Brown debated Elizabeth Warren and attacked her over her race. He pretty much claimed that he could tell if she had any Native American blood in her.

It was a fail of sorts; many folks called him out on it. But then, this happened:


That was Brown's campaign staffers mocking Warren in a racist chant.

And then, this happened:

After that, the Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation Bill John Baker, had enough and wrote this:

“The conduct of these individuals goes far beyond what is appropriate and proper in political discourse. The use of stereotypical ‘war whoop chants’ and ‘tomahawk chops’ are offensive and downright racist.”

Think Progress reports:

Baker called on Brown to “apologize for the offensive actions of his staff and their uneducated, unenlightened and racist portrayal of native peoples,” and said, “A campaign that would allow and condone such offensive and racist behavior must be called to task for their actions." 

Warren’s Cherokee and Delaware Native American ancestry has been a frequent line of attack for Brown, with the campaign even running ads on the topic. The Senator did say Tuesday, however, that he did not “condone” their actions.

Scott is being a frat boy about this. He needs to get this mess under control because this foolishness will become his legacy.

Rep. Scott Brown goes on paper as the 61st vote to Repeal DADT

 Okay, I hope this is real. ABC news states that Scott Brown is a "Yes" for the DADT repeal.

Massachusetts Republican Scott Brown today voiced his support for a stand-alone repeal of the military’s Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy, bringing the bill one vote over the 60-vote threshold that it will need to reach if and when the Senate votes on the measure in the coming weeks.

“Sen. Brown accepts the Pentagon’s recommendation to repeal the policy after proper preparations have been completed. If and when a clean repeal bill comes up for a vote, he will support it,” said Brown spokesperson Gail Gitcho.

Brown’s backing means that – on paper – supporters of the repeal have 61 senators in favor of the bill. On Wednesday Republicans Olympia Snowe of Maine and Lisa Murkowski both announced their support for the stand-alone repeal. The House passed the clean repeal on Wednesday and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has vowed to bring it to a vote in the Senate before the end of the year.

Next week is the vote. It would a nice holiday gift for this to pass.

While some think he could be for the repeal, others think he will oppose it since he's running for re-election soon. However, it will be very interesting to see where the cards fall from Scotty's hand.

Scott Brown Snubs Moose Mess

Scotty "Cosmo" Brown was asked to join Moosey for a Dummy R Us meeting in Boston, but declined.

Here's a reason why:

Brown, who took heat for the alleged misbehavior of some of his supporters at campaign events, may be trying to distance himself from what could be a volatile event, said political analyst Lou DiNatale.

“You’re worried at a rally that there’s a sign, a statement, an incident that’s certifiably cuckoo occurs,” DiNatale said.

“To win re-election, Scott Brown floating to the right is a serious problem.

“And showing up at a Sarah Palin, Tea Party event is not the way to the middle.”

I think this very wise for Scott to do this. In time, the Tea Party's relevance will just whittle into a bunch fools complaining about issues that actually helps their dumbasses.

Plus, if Scott wants to be taken seriously, he will need civil minded folks on his side.

Cosmo Cock beats Martha Coakley

Well, it's done. Martha lost the special election.

In a dramatic upset that will end Democrats' super majority in the Senate, Massachusetts Republican Scott Brown defeated Democrat Martha Coakley to claim the seat held by the late Ted Kennedy for more than 46 years.

Brown's victory makes him the 41st Republican in the Senate, meaning Democrats will no longer be able to prevent a Republican filibuster -- a major complication for President Obama's agenda and health care legislation currently pending in Congress.

Obama called Brown to congratulate him on his victory and told him "he looks forward to working with him on the urgent economic challenges facing Massachusetts families and struggling families across our nation," White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said.

Brown has said he opposes Democrats' health care overhaul working its way through Congress, and some Democrats are even acknowledging Brown's win could imperil passage of other big ticket items, including climate change legislation, regulatory reforms and a banking industry overhaul.

Minor setback, we will be okay. This is a lesson learned.

Our household just got an automated call from the “National Organization for Marriage,” with a 202 area code. The auto call features a male voice, which is clearly a recording, asking if you support marriage as being only between a man and a woman. If you say “yes,” then the voice urges you to vote for Scott Brown as the only candidate with a proven record of supporting marriage as between a man and a woman. The call says that his opponent is a “radical” supporter of same-sex marriage who has opposed letting the people decide and has used taxpayer dollars to support the agenda of same-sex marriage. The call ends by asking if “we can count on you to vote for Scott Brown.” The quality of the recording is mediocre at best.
