My New Louis Vuitton!

Okay, here's my shallow moment.

Some of y'all know, I'm obsessed with Louis Vuitton. I have a couple items and believe that everyone should get at least one LV in their lifetime.

But anywho, I brought home my latest edition. This is the Daniel MM.

Now, I'm not going to lie, this is expensive. But luckily, I have a hook up. So I didn't have to pay the full amount! So excited!

But, I can't tell my mama or she is going to want one.

If I had an extra $1100 dollars, I would get my 3rd/next LV item. The Louis Vuitton Damier Graphite Renzo. It's such a beautiful bag.

Black Friday

Unless Louis Vuitton has a Black Friday sale, I guess I will be avoiding the stores. But, I will be at Disney, for the first half of the day.

However, have a good shopping or sleeping morning.

The LV Experience

Well, I did it. After years of saying I will, I did. I got my Louis Vuitton bag. Yes, yes, I know it's crazy, but I think we all got our things. Usually it's comics, movies, work clothes, and Sprinkes;
but this time, it's Louis.

A while ago I talked about winning a bet from my partner for the LV bag. Once he paid up, I headed down to Beverly Hills to the flagship store. If you ever get a LV bag, you may find it a bit interesting. They greet you and help you find your item. Then they take you to the back to ring up your item. Now, the whole time, they are guarding you future purchase with care until the deed is done. But to my surprise and minor embarrassment, my bank almost didn't want my dreams to come true.

The minute they ran my card through, it was declined and in the 2nd run it was denied again. I could've died, standing with a declined bank card. As I slowly began to melt inside, my bank called me. They thought someone stole my card and was trying purchase a high priced item, so in my safety, they stop the payment. I told them it wasn't stolen and please reactivate it...they were ruining my moment. So after that mini-drama, I got my bag and now I'm happy...and $741 lighter.

Buyers are Aware

Finally, somebody is stopping the con artist madness on eBay. Today, a Paris court on ordered eBay to pay $63 million in damages to Louis Vuitton for selling fake luxury goods online.

According to CNN.com.
eBay, the world's largest online auctioneer, said it would lodge an appeal and said the decision was not a victory for copyright law.

A spokesperson for eBay said: "This decision is not based on combating counterfeit material. It is based on LVMH's desire to protect its commercial practices and exclude competition,"

"This is being done at the expense of the consumers and sellers to whom eBay is always offering opportunities,"

I understand eBay's point, but they had no way in regulating the huge number of fake louies they were posting. Usually, if they had 25 LV items, maybe one of them were real. The others were fakes, very bad fakes I might add. I think it's good Louis V is protecting their image. There should be some sense of respect for their label. eBay should have been mindful of this when they received 100s of complaints for harboring fake louies. Maybe now, after the $63mill-mill fine, they will be more aware.

What to do with $600 buckaroos

Last year, my partner claimed that the musical, Xanadu, would close in a year and I said, whatever. So he wanted to make a bet, since he was so sure that he would win.

The terms were if he wins, he gets a Xbox and if I win I get $600 bucks towards this, a Louis Vuitton Naviglio bag for work. It's like $965

Well, I won and by July 30th, I may be sporting this bag all over town, perhaps at the San Diego Comic Con, if I'm lucky. But maybe I should use it for something else.
The bag is really expensive... I do want to go to Kentucky to see my friend, and New York is always a place to go. I guess I should think about it more.
