Interesting Quote: Joe the Plumber

"Wanting a white Republican president doesn’t make you racist, it just makes you American. In the pre-black president era, criticizing the president was simply the American thing to do. An exercise of one’s First Amendment right. Criticism had nothing to do with color, because there had never been a black president, or at least one whom people recognized as black. So to criticize the president meant that you didn’t like his policies. The election of a recognized black president was not supposed to change anything. In fact, it was supposed to (1) ease any perceived racial tensions, and (2) allow the government to focus on legislating without race. So America would be more free than ever to discuss the issues. Not the case. And that is why having a white Republican president is best for the country."

Interesting Quote: Joe the Plumber

30 years ago we use to play a game called “smear the queer;” a game where whoever had the football got gang tackled. It was a normal. If you had the ball, you were the queer, because no one else had the ball, and having the ball made you odd or “queer” in that respect. Of course, you could throw the ball to another player and the pack would quickly turn to smear that queer, without regard to his or her sexuality, I might add. Queer, gay, homo, fag meant nothing having to do with what you were attracted to and no one committed suicide, got beat up or even called names in that regard. That was my experience.

Then, about ten years later, the media and the ever-tolerant Hollywood (not), began portraying homosexual (men) on television and film as the “Funny” one or the one you felt sorry for – just to get us used to the idea. C’mon – who didn’t laugh at Paul Lynde or Charles Nelson Reilly? And not until Ellen demanded her character come out of the closet (which she was summarily fired for) did gay characters litter the big and small screen alike, whether it was important or not. ( Just to go a little further with this point, Hollywood will put “gay” characters in tv show/movies that are not relevant to the plot. They try to portray this as “Normal” America. I can tell you right now, when I’m tossing the football with my son in front of the house, I have never seen 2 men hand in hand prancing down the street. You?)

"Joe the Plumber" for Congress?

Am I dreaming? This can't be real. Joe the Plumber running for Congress? He must be crazy!
The Capital reports:
The filing for "Joe for Congress 2012" was just submitted on Friday, and the scanned file does not yet appear on the FEC's site, and went without notice, to my knowledge, until a couple of hours ago.

The statement of candidacy isn't online yet, but it lists Wurzelbacher in Ohio's Ninth District, which has been held by Democrat Marcia Kaptur since 1983. Wurzelbacher floated the idea he might challenge Kaptur in 2010, and there have been rumors recently that he might consider a run.
Joe, please get out while you can.

Joe the FAKE wins Ohio's Republican Party Seat

Somebody lay hands on Ohio.

Folks just elected Joe 'Worcestershire Sauce' a GOP party seat. Why would they give this fool some power?
Samuel "Joe" Wurzelbacher, who was hailed by Republican John McCain's presidential campaign in 2008, won one of nearly 400 seats on the local Republican Party committee in Ohio's Lucas County.

But don't call him Joe the Politician just yet.

The group he'll serve on meets only a few times a year to elect the county chairman and sets the party agenda. Wurzelbacher won the seat by a 38-24 vote Tuesday in his suburban Toledo precinct.

He's resisted calls to run for Congress and has criticized Democrats and Republicans alike. He's also taken shots at McCain, confessing in his book that he did not want him as the GOP presidential nominee.

Wurzelbacher remains an icon for many antiestablishment conservatives.

He drew cheers at a tea party rally last month in Cincinnati when he told the crowd not to let "a bunch of liberal pansies" take away their rights.

"Illegal immigration?" he said. "Put a fence up and start shooting."

Interesting Quote: Joe The Plumber

At a state level, it's up to them. I don't want it to be a federal thing. I personally still think it's wrong. People don't understand the dictionary--it's called queer. Queer means strange and unusual. It's not like a slur, like you would call a white person a honky or something like that. You know, God is pretty explicit in what we're supposed to do--what man and woman are for. Now, at the same time, we're supposed to love everybody and accept people, and preach against the sins. I've had some friends that are actually homosexual. And, I mean, they know where I stand, and they know that I wouldn't have them anywhere near my children. But at the same time, they're people, and they're going to do their thing.

He's Got a Job...sort of

Joe the Plumber is going to do his best for the country. He's going to war...well, he going to Israel as a war correspondent for the conservative Web site pjtv.com.

He going to be there for 10 days to cover the scene and talk to average "Joes" about their experiences. Perhaps he can put this 10 day venture as "employment" on his tax return.

In this Book, Joe Reveals his true Feelings for John

Joke the Plumber is truly biting the hand that jerked him. Now, after the election is over, Joe claims that he's appalled with McCain.

In an interview with Glenn Beck, he talked about his new book and his real feelings about the election and his favorite candidate.

GLENN: Well, okay. Let's take them one by one. Tell me about John McCain, something that I don't know.

JOE THE PLUMBER: Well, something you don't know, actually it's probably stuff that you've already guessed and has already been painted in the different media spotlights. Just, well, you know, the bailouts. When I was on the bus with him, I asked him a lot of questions about the bailout because most Americans did not want that to happen, yet he voted for it. At the same time he's talking about how he's going to make somebody famous if they even think about putting pork in the bill? We all know how much pork was in the $700 billion bailout package. And why did he vote for it? And I asked him pretty direct questions and some of the answers you guys are going to receive, you know, they appalled me, absolutely. You know, I was angry. In fact, I wanted to get off the bus after I talked to him.

GLENN: Really?

JOE THE PLUMBER: Oh, yeah.

GLENN: Why didn't you get off the bus?

JOE THE PLUMBER: Honestly because the thought of Barack Obama becoming President scares me even more.

So really, this is how he's trying his book. But Joe, McCain made you and somebody needs to break you. However, he has a right to his views. I just find it interesting that he claiming this now. But hey, he's an opportunist...What do you expect?
So reserve your book today!

Has He even Read Anything besides Juggs and maybe...Unzipped?

Athena help me! Just when I thought it was safe, Joe the Plumber has a BOOK DEAL!

A BOOK DEAL! Who's going to read that? Well, some fool will I guess.

It's with a small, Texas-based publisher PearlGate Publishing. The book will be called, Joe the Plumber: Fighting for the American Dream (Ha!)

And it will address "Mr. Wurzelbacher’s ideas about American values" and be co-written with Thomas N. Tabback who writes crazy Christian books similar to Left Behind.

When Joe the S**thead talked about his deal, he said: he could have signed a deal with a larger publisher. “But they don’t need the help,” Mr. Wurzelbacher said. “They are already rich. So that’s spreading the wealth to me.”

Well, all I got to say to you Joe is this... With this money, pay your bills and go to college!
