J.Lo Developing a Lesbian Themed Series

J.Lo is doing something different... producing and developing a show.

She is developing a new show about a lesbian couple with an interesting family mix-up. Deadline reports:

The so far untitled series is about a lesbian couple who suddenly have their already child heavy household turned upside down when a wayward teenage girl moves in. One of the mothers is a cop, the other is a private school teacher. They have one biological son and adopted teen twins, one a boy, the other a girl. The American idol judge is said to be planning to guest star in the show. Lopez will executive produce the series, which the network is fast tracking, with Simon Fields, her partner at Nuyorican Productions.

This series is set for ABC Family.

JLO is a Single Lady

Well, they tried. Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are done.

"We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision," the couple said in a statement by Lopez's publicist. "We have come to amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time."

It was a surprising split for one of Hollywood's most high-profile couples. They seemed inseparable: Lopez even danced in the background for her crooner husband when he performed on "American Idol," where she debuted as a judge this past season.

The pair, both of Puerto Rican heritage, married in 2004 after years of knowing each other. He was ending a marriage to former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres, while she had recently endured a high-profile breakup with Ben Affleck.

NO GO for JLo

Well this is a relief, I hope. JLo won't be a judge for American Idol.

Jennifer Lopez won’t be a judge on American Idol after all, according to a source close to the situation.

The singer-actress had been closing a deal to be a permanent judge on the show for its upcoming 10th season but the deal fell apart.

“Her demands got out of hand,” says the source. “Fox had just had enough.”

With Simon Cowell and Ellen DeGeneres both departing the talent search, the network had been pursuing a number of celebrities as potential judges, including Aerosmith‘s Steven Tyler.

But now that Lopez is out of the running, the network may be looking at their earlier top picks again.

Her demands... That's funny. It's not 2003, JLo; nobody itching to hear a your CD or something.

At this point, you can't demand too much when the public is not demanding anything from you.

New Rumor: JLo will replace Ellen on American Idol

I hope this is a rumor. Folks are saying it's JLo will replace Ellen on Idol.

ET reports:

Jenny from the block is going to take undiscovered talent from their own hometown blocks and turn them into blockbuster successes. Multiple sources confirmed to ET on Thursday night that a deal is signed, sealed, and delivered for Jennifer Lopez to permanently preside as a judge on "American Idol."

Back in 2007, JLo mentored "Idol" contestants and will now be returning to the show for good to nurture contestants week in and week out during their season 10 journey to be crowned the next "American Idol."

"American Idol" told ET they have "no comment on any of the rumors or speculation."
