The race was too close to call, but Clay lead with 372 votes.




If he wins, Clay will challenge the Republican U.S. Rep. Renee Ellmers in November. Renee is a Tea Party lackey who came into the scene in 2010. Again, if Clay wins, will his star appeal unseat Miss Renee Ellmers?
