I lucked out this year. I'm a guest!! No food to prepare, just wine to pour. Two houses down the street at my sister's, and the mimosas start at 9 a.m.
I am going to turn it out with my cooking and serve it with gratitude to my family of choice.
We do a potluck dinner, with assigned dishes. My "fam" loves my yams and collard greens. Yes, you read right, this Puerto Rican is cooking up some southern comfort.
Oh and there will be pernil and arroz con gandules.
