This is a terrible story. I can understand and appreciate why we have these laws on the books, but this is a situation where I'm not comfortable enforcing it.
I'm horribly frightened that even though the CAUSE of the younger girl's parents calling the police was just hatred that this law will still stand in court. If not every case from here on out with a young person who claims actual rape will cite this case. how disheartening
