WTF? Dan Choi palling around with Tony Perkins?

On Twitter last night, Dan Choi tweeted this

So I looked at the link and saw this
So is he Kool-Aiding around with Tony FRAKING Perkins? Okay, maybe this means nothing, but Dan has been hanging out with some questionable people as of late. And this tweet from Tony, just didn't sit well with me.

Hopefully, there's an explanation.

    There is no explanation. Choi is another of those people who think he's been empowered by the spirt of Ghandi, King, and Bayard Rustin and as such thinks he can justify his ignorance and arrogance at the expense of his allies, friends, and or supporters.

    Either we're seeing the real Dan Choi or he doesn't understand that no matter how hard he tries he's not going to be on equal standing with those religious bullies.
