McCain got a message loud and clear from the Dems today.
Your alternative stimulus plan STINKS!
The poor man put up a plan that was smaller than Obama' s, but it almost made no sense. They voted 57-40 against McCain's $421 billion dollar plan.
McCain's plan would have cut the bottom two income tax brackets and reduced corporate income taxes. It also would have extended unemployment benefits and provide money to take care of military equipment demolished in the war. But nobody was hearing it. Nice try though, Magoo.
