VIDEO: Best (Gay) Moment in Doctor Who

Near the end of last night Doctor Who, we were given a moment of something quite unexpected.

Watch this clip

Hopefully, we will see more Canton Delaware.

  1. LOL. I caught the "Black" part, but I didn't hear the other inference... Um. But I do have comments about this and the Season Opener.

    *sigh*

  2. You should check out Tim's review over at Naked Came I. I think he's in a bit of a bad mood but I also agree with a lot of what he says.

  3. Loved it. Loved the episode, loved the season opener. And yes, Canton was brilliant and I'd love to see him back again!

If you didn't like it, don't watch it - personally a two parted that made you think and ponder and try and work things out that so far in the season don't make sense because we're only two episodes in; but another of the great things about Who is it can change itself completely story to story.

  4. Regrettably, I read Sean's link to a review above. Please, no one else go.
It's written by someone who obviously has a grudge over the recent series. Which is fine. I understand that all of fandom will not agree on all things. But as I read further into reviews written by "Naked Came I (N.C.I.)", I saw him take a big stinking dump on the fantastic apartheid-from-space film District 9, so his nerd cred took a big fall in my book from that alone. In addition, N.C.I. has no positive things, no suggestions on improvements. It's simply one big ugh-fest pity party for him. If you feel a series is no longer enjoyable, stop watching. I did that with Alias S3 & Glee S2 and felt immensely relieved when I did. Fortunately for N.C.I., with Doctor Who, regenerations happen which are natural jumping on points where things WILL drastically change for the series, potential for the better (for him).

As to his uber-complaint that the companions didn't follow up on Little Time Lord Fauntleroy OR The Death of the Doctor:
    1) They weren't worried that River Song jumped off a building some months before this episode.
    2) To quote Sean himself earlier this week in response to the Superman Citizenship post by Wondermann: "like all stories, until you actually read it you have no idea of where it's going, how it will get there and where it will end."

It was a terrible recommendation & I'll never read N.C.I's reviews again.
