Since the Pride & Prejudice and Zombies novel is burning up the bestseller's list, I wonder... Are there other tales that can go through a Zombie remix?
I do like your idea with Romeo and Juliet and zombies. Instead of killing themselves at the end they simply just turned into Zombies. Maybe Romeo ending up eating Juliet. That'd be fun.
Huckleberry Finn would be a great book if it had zombies. It would give the author the ability to explore race-relations in the context of having to work together to fight off an enemy that doesn't distinguishes between Black or White.
Though it would be funny if zombies preferred Black meat to White meat, or vice-verse.
Catcher In the Rye or To Kill A Mocking Bird, also would be great zombie revisions too.
With the success of this book, I'm sure at this very moment hopefull writers are rewriting all the ones you mentioned! Maybe we should too!
ReplyDeleteActually, I have heard that a couple of classics are going to be getting the zombie treatment. Wuthering Heights, one of them.
