Scary in what way? Well, I would have to say it was when I was told I had cancer following surgery, and needed to follow up with a years worth of chemotherapy. Thankfully, that was just over 16 years ago. But that day, in the hospital, I was truly frightened to the bone.
Coincidentally, it was when this a teacher read us that book (the cover you have posted) in elementary school. The stories in it scared the bejesus out of me.
My scariest moment would be when I flipped a car with my sister and one of her classmates in the back seat. Luckily nobody got hurt, but that's probably one of the reasons I don't drive today.
