“What I’m hoping is that, yes, that person may have AIDS, have it seriously as a baby and when they grow up, but the mother will begin to feel guilt as a result of that. The family will see the negative consequences of that promiscuity and it may make a number of people over the coming years begin to realize that there are negative consequences and maybe they should adjust their behavior.
Schultheis 's response when asked to clarify his comments about
HIV-positive women to infect their babies.Seriously, who's putting these fools in office?
When I was a teenager I was stopped in the street by some young dude asking me if I ever thought about Jesus or some similar nonsense.
ReplyDeleteEven then I was highly cynical and anti-religion. So, I agreed to come along to one of their group's meetings.
People read from the bible, and were quite nice. Then one lady related a story about someone she knew getting a tattoo, and contracting HIV from equipment the tattoo artist used.
She said something along the lines of "it's God's will, and punishment". Something about getting tattoos , or tampering with the body, conflicting with the bible.
Everyone nodded in agreement.
So: a woman decides to get a tattoo, and ends up getting AIDS. And the Christians all agree that it's God's will.
That's the kind of logic these poeple operate on, just like Sen. Dave Schultheis...
Wonder Man, you ask "who's putting these fools in office?"
The answer: cult members (call them Christians, call them Muslims, they're all the same)...
GAD!
