Pushing Daisies had its charm, but that underlying solving-deaths thing annoyed the hell out of me. They should have been a show about nothing - but with dead people. That would have held my imagination.

I've done some research into how television evolved. Essentially what they put forth is the basest form of pablum. Every now and then something intelligent and witty makes it through only to be canceled. It's why I've pretty much tuned out TV and Radio. It's too simplistic and overly commercialized. I've taken to listening to NPR podcasts, and a whole bunch of music podcasts.
