Will and Grace: The Science Project
Gay men and straight women think alike. That's nothing new, right? I mean, I've always known about that considering all my females friends in high school and my love for Dynasty, Days of Our Lives, and other dramas. But a new study confirms that notion to some degree.
Researchers wrote in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, that gay men and straight women share some characteristics in the area of the brain accountable for anxiety, mood, and emotion. Explains a lot doesn't it.
And they also found similar stuff in lesbians and straight men. In some ways this isn't a surprise, but it's interesting to think about science decoding some of the mysteries of our sexuality and gender. Soon, we will know why many gay men love musicals, Madonna, and cocktails.
