More than 500 people gathered to protest and support Horry County Schools policy on transgender student bathroom use, and while the board was in executive session a conflict broke out between a policy supporter and protesters. The group occasionally broke out in song to silence the woman who questioned why transgender students cannot have the same rights as non-transgender students.
