Dylann Roof Will Face the Death Penalty for Church Killings

Well, the Justice Department is seeking the death penalty for Dylann Roof.

Dylann committed a racially charged massacre of nine people in a church in Charleston last year. He will face two death penalty trials.

Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch said in a statement:
“Following the department’s rigorous review process to thoroughly consider all relevant factual and legal issues, I have determined that the Justice Department will seek the death penalty. The nature of the alleged crime and the resulting harm compelled this decision.”
He deserves this

  1. Having protested many many times, i am staunchly anti-death penalty, even in this case.
If convicted, he can spend years appealing the ruling--something the people of South Carolina will pay for--and might never be executed.
Life without parole, however, means just that; jail until he dies.
That works for me because then he can sit in jail for decades knowing why he's there.
