In HBO Remembering the Artist: Robert De Niro, Sr., Robert De Niro talked about his father's life and sexuality. In case you didn't know (I didn't), Robert De Niro, Sr. was gay and struggled a lot with it.
Interesting post!! Surely it was difficult for men of that generation. I became active in the '70s and it was still difficult. The '80s as well. The '90s proved interesting. The new millenia and can one say "mainstream"? In theory, perhaps... But it looks hopeful for the coming generations, more so than I would have ever dreamed of back in the '70s.
yeah, I did not know this fact either until I saw the video on yahoo. love knows no rules/boundaries.
