Two Weeks later! Over 200 Nigerian schoolgirls are Still Missing!

I apologize for being so late on this.

Two weeks ago, the evil militant group known as Boko Haram abducted 234 school girls from their boarding school in northern Nigeria.

The ages of these girls goes from 16 to 18 years of age. They were taken from their residence halls at the Government Girls Secondary School in the town of Chibok. Rumors are spreading that the girls have been sold as brides and slaves to Islamic militants for 2,000 naira, or $12.

TWELVE DOLLARS!

Again, these are rumors, but Nigerian officials can confirmed that the girls were kidnapped by Boko Haram. The families are heartbroken and demanding answers from President Goodluck Jonathan and the rest of the Nigerian government. Yesterday, there was a Million-woman march in the Nigerian capital over the government's failure to find and rescue the girls.

I can not imagine the pain these families feel. The fear of Boko Haram, the disappointment of the Nigerian goverment and the loss of the girls has to be extremely stressful for them.

Hopefully, something will be done.
