What's a Theremin?


In American Horror Story: Coven, we see Myrtle Snow playing this interesting instrument called, a theremin.

But what is it? It is an odd instrument that sounds like a ghost is coming.

    Sheldon Cooper played the theremin on an episode of The Big Bang Theory claiming it was the instrument the original Star Trek theme was played on.
