Not only has SNL hired a Black female cast member, they have also hired two more Black women as writers.
LaKendra Tookes and Leslie Jones are the newest editions to the SNL's writers' room.
LaKendra is an actress and a comedian and Leslie was a news reporter in Florida. I'm sure they will spice up the skits on SNL. Who knows, they could help make SNL go from Good to Great.
