San Antonio (Anti-Gay) Councilwoman Elisa Chan is Resigning

Y'all remember San Antonio Councilwoman Elisa Chan? She was the heifer who was caught saying some very anti-gay mess on tape a few months back. Well, we have word that she is resigning from her position on the 18th.

She plans on seeking a higher office, challenging Donna Campbell in Texas Senate District 25.

I hope she realized that her chances could be very slim. Nationally known for her anti-gay stance could hurt her campaign and send her down 'Loser Street' with turbo boosters. I guess Elisa thinks she has a great shot.

I guess we will see how this plays out.

    Don't count her out of the race so fast ... remember, in some (many) palces in TX, being anti-gay is a plus

    This is Texas. With all of the Congressional loonies they've elected she will probably win.
