I feel very proud for the work we've done, but I also recognize that the work isn't over. We've crossed a very big hurdle and sent a message. Now it's time to see to it that all the brothers and sisters who can't be in legal unions get that right.
I'm very happy to be here in California. Now we need to have this go nationwide!
