Soaps' Mega Diva Jeanne Cooper died today.
Jeanne played The Young and the Restless‘ Katherine Chancellor for 40 years. She was called "The Dame of Genoa City" and "The Duchess". My grandmama would call her "Her Girl'.
She was a marvel and I enjoyed her when I used to watch YATR. She will be missed.
I remember watching this show about twenty-five years ago, and she was one of the best reasons to tune in. She could have done movies, but she found her niche as Katherine Chancellor. I'll miss her.
