I've known about the accomplishments of Dr. Ben Carson for years. Though I haven't thought about him much in recent years -- not until this whole Tea Party thing came up -- I'm somewhat disappointed that his name and legacy has now become associated with the Tea Party. I would have been content with knowing about his accomplishments as a pediatric neurosurgeon and left it at that.
