Dan Savage pissed off some Christian Teens at the National High School Journalist Conference

Dan Savage served a sassy, but truthful dish at the National High School Journalist Conference in Seattle. Dan basically gave real talk about how Christians misuse the Bible for their own benefit. As he was talking, the Jesus kids got up and left. I guess if they were in same situation as Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, they would fail. Anywho, see the drama for yourself.
Apparently, GOProud's human Ken doll was upset.
"Dan Savage should apologize for his comments and should apologize to the high school students in attendance whom he called ‘pansy-asses,’” Jimmy LaSalvia told Fox. “It is ironic that someone whose claim to fame is fighting bullying would resort to bullying tactics in attacking high school students who were offended by his outrageous remarks.”
Bitch, please. Nobody was attacked. What Dan said was a real and the truth... Wow, I'm siding with Dan Savage. Hell, should be freezing now. source

  1. So, let me get this queer: Dan should apologize because these Christian goosesteppers didn't like what he said, but when a Christian goosestepper says gays are like pedophiles we should turn the other cheek.
    Ain't happenin'.

  2. As an educator I am disappointed in Dan's tactic. He was in front of a group of young people as an elder. He was "teacher-for-a-day."

He had an opportunity to drop some knowledge on these kids. However, when he pulled out the word "bullshit" so prematurely, he lost a part of the audience that needed to hear some truth, that could maybe free their minds.

He was then left to preach to the choir.

When I taught high school, I met many young people whose lives centered around church, because that is how they are raised.

Whenever they practiced their bigotry that they felt "god" wants them to do, or that their church passed onto them, I broke it down for them with words that invited contemplation, not by attacking their faith.
