DOMA's Federal Definition of Marriage is Unconstitutional
Aw shucky ducky! The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California found Section 3 of the DOMA unconstitutional in Golinski v. Office of Personnel Management.
GASP! HORROR! The religious extremists (whether Christian, Islamic, Jewish, Westboro Baptists or GOP) just sucked ALL the air out of the universe in collective outrage! Well, it's great news about the judicial decision but it's not much of a surprise. We all knew it was unconstitutional the moment it was passed by Congress and signed into law.
