You quoted someone as saying that "Teena was a black voice trapped in a white body," Nothing could be further from the truth. That black voice had the wings of a bird, it was never trapped. Matter of fact Teena didn't just let it fly, she made it soar! She will be greatly missed.
They did an Unsung on her this past season on TVOne. We abuse and take advantage of the talented way too much for the love of money.
Did someone mention Teena Marie - Lovergirl was a song I had a secret guilty pleasure about singing!
