What Child Is This (esp Vanessa Williams' version), Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas (either Judy or James Taylor will do), and The Christmas Song, but only by Nat King Cole...
I honestly have two, that I've been loving for the last 5 years.
"Sleigh Ride" by Ella Fitzgerald. and "Silver Bells" by Harry Connick Jr . But, last year, I was floored by actress Kristen Chenoweth and her rendition of "I'll Be Home for Christmas". OMG!
Finally, "O Christmas Tree" by Aretha Franklin. That song is so regal, it don't even make sense!
Why have you done that, you've put me in the Christmas Spirit!
"O Holy Night" is my absolute favorite Christmas song.
ReplyDeleteMy Dad's, on the other hand, is "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer". He prefers the classics...
XOXOXOXO
I have many favorites, but at the moment, might be Baby, Please Come Home.

ReplyDeleteI'm with David on this one. While I am so non-religious, I love "O Hloy Night."
ReplyDeleteAnd for sheer sentimenatlity, I go for Judy and "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas."
