You know I would have been more interested if not for the obvious leeching of 300 style visuals. While this incarnation is very different from the clay animation creature classic of my youth, I do wish it had more of it's own identity from the other loin clothed predecessor.
Also, the heavy metal music limits the scope of it and makes it much more urbane and pedestrian(MTV) than larger than life and epic.
