I hate to say it, but I wasn't...I know, I know, bad American.

V, I don't think you are a bad American at all, your heart always seems in the right place. I think it is a little more important to be a citizen of the world. I was a little sad that Chicago didn't get it, but only because I know how much it could have helped the city. I'm happy that a country in South America finally has the opportunity to host the games. Brazil could benefit greatly from this and to be honest who couldn't have a good time in Rio?
I wasn't as crushed as some people were. It would have been cool if we had gotten the Olympics, but I my overall reaction was, "Oh well, we didn't get it."
