Obama Will Sign Matthew Shepard Bill on Wednesday... I hope


If everything goes right, President Obama will sign the Matthew Shepard & James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act into law on Hump day.

    Should have been signed into law decades ago. Are we to be satisfied by this and keep our mouths shut for now? I don't think so.

    No we shouldn't shut our mouths, but we need to address congress and let them know we need more and want more.

    Lord, can't we celebrate this victory for a minute or two before somebody starts complaining? Geez! I know more needs to be done as well, but damn can we enjoy something for once...
