Mattel introduces the Ladies of the 80s

Mattel is bringing it with the Barbies.

Now they have the girls from the 80s!

Debbie Harry, Cyndi Lauper and Joan Jett (a lesbian doll!)

I think they should continue the series with: Kate Bush, Vanity 6, Whitney Houston, Tina Turner, Jody Watley and Wendy O Williams
Hell, I'll buy the Wendy O Williams doll

  1. I love Wendy O Williams. She fucking rocket it, Have you seen Reform School Girls. She has the best line. When she responded to Edna's attack to her, You are nothing but a shit stain in the panties of life. And Wendy respond it, you ought to know you like them every night.

  3. I love the three choices in the picture, but I don't think any eighties collection would be complete without Whitney Houston, Tina Turner, and Patti Labelle.

  6. How cool and iconic these women were. I knew who all of them were without hesitation! How strong an image is that!? With that being said, Patti Labelle and Tina Turner are just too iconic to pass up!! I'd love to see a Patti doll with that skyscraper hair she had!!

  7. You can't have a Ladies of the 80s collection without Madonna. Come on she's an icon of the 80s and should have her own dolls.

Mattel should do a Madonna collection -- they would make millions. Now, just getting Madonna on board.
