Yesterday, The Daily Beast sent out a video claiming that gay rights leaders made a deal with senators and members of the House to not push for an end to "don’t ask, don’t tell" until later in the year.
Today, the gay rights leaders strike back. The Human Rights Campaign completely denies it, saying:
"This story is not only an outright lie, it is recklessly irresponsible. HRC never made such a deal and continues to work with congress and the administration on a full range of equality issues including a swift end to the military's shameful ban on gay servicemembers."
Well somebody's lying or got the wrong info. Whatever, we just want the truth, now!
