No Hope for Burris

Calls for his resignation are getting stronger and louder

From Black minsters

Then Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn called for his resignation earlier today. And finally, Burris' chief of staff walked out on his job for 'unknown reasons'.

The White House stepped in and asked Burris to use the weekend to contemplate "what lays in his future."

Mess, Roland, just mess

  1. Correct me if I'm wrong WM, but isn't Mr. Burris currenrly the only Black person in the US Senate right now? Just curious.

Mmm. The sitch with Mr. Burris is getting quite convoluted. Perhaps, the good (?) Senator SHOULD consider resigning. "If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck.." There's too much murkiness with ex-Gov. Pay-Rod and what really transpired. I dunno. Like you say brother, "just mess!"

Plus, don't tell me the King of bad hair didn't know what he was doing by nominating a Black candidate to the Senate...Burris fell into a trap from the very beginning.

My advice? Get out while you still have some integrity left Roland!!!

  2. Excuse my french but what a fucking idiot. If he would have just kept his mouth shut he wouldn't be in this position. All those degrees he has didn't teach common sense.
