The super-billion dollar deal passed. Now Bush has to sign it and I guess the world starts back up.

The measure passed by 92 votes, 263 to 171, with the plan picking up support on both sides of the tracks. So in other words, the House realized their whining didn't pay off.

But there are a bunch of added stuff to this bill that could explain the real reasons why this bill was passed.
